Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Landscape No. 11 by Wang Jinsong for HKD 52,500.00 (€ 5,914.91). This price was achieved in the auction The Origo Collection — Contemporary Ink Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Jinsong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Modern People (8 Panels) in October 2010 with an auction result of HKD 3,860,000.00 (€ 358,384.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Landscape No. 11 von Wang Jinsong für HKD 52.500,00 (€ 5.914,91) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Origo Collection — Contemporary Ink Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Jinsong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Modern People (8 Panels) im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.860.000,00 (€ 358.384,91).
