Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Traveling in a Snowy Landscape by Wang Jianzhang. The price achieved of HKD 126,000.00 (€ 14,015.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Jianzhang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape; Calligraphy In Cursive Script in September 2012 with an auction result of USD 86,500.00 (€ 67,283.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Traveling in a Snowy Landscape von Wang Jianzhang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 126.000,00 (€ 14.015,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Jianzhang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape; Calligraphy In Cursive Script im September 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 86.500,00 (€ 67.283,76).
