It achieved a price of HKD 632,500.00 (€ 60,020.97), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Wang Jianzhang; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Landscape; Calligraphy In Cursive Script sold at auction in September 2012 with the realized price of USD 86,500.00 (€ 67,283.76).
