Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2006 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Landscape by Wang Jianzhang. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 114,000.00 (€ 11,055.27). Admittedly, works by Wang Jianzhang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape; Calligraphy In Cursive Script in September 2012 with an auction result of USD 86,500.00 (€ 67,283.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2006 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Wang Jianzhang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 114.000,00 (€ 11.055,27) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Jianzhang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape; Calligraphy In Cursive Script im September 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 86.500,00 (€ 67.283,76).
