Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mognolia Denudata by Wang Guxiang was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2014. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 580,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 598,000.00 (€ 61,565.84). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Guxiang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flowers and Birds, which sold at auction in May 2006 for HKD 1,440,000.00 (€ 144,639.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mognolia Denudata von Wang Guxiang kam im Oktober 2014 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 580.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 598.000,00 (€ 61.565,84) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Guxiang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flowers and Birds beobachtet, die im Mai 2006 für HKD 1.440.000,00 (€ 144.639,60) versteigert wurde.
