Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Evening Sale), which included the work Terrazzo 2003.3 by Wang Guangle. The price achieved of HKD 3,880,000.00 (€ 448,456.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 3,000,000.00 – 5,000,000.00. Other works by Wang Guangle have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2016 the work TERRAZZO NO. 12 was auctioned for HKD 4,860,000.00 (€ 592,223.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Evening Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Terrazzo 2003.3 von Wang Guangle zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 3.880.000,00 (€ 448.456,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 3.000.000,00 – 5.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Wang Guangle konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2016 die Arbeit TERRAZZO NO. 12 für HKD 4.860.000,00 (€ 592.223,48) versteigert.
