Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wang Daishan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2013. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work People and Scenery sold for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 19,833.69) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Daishan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Garden Series, which sold at auction in April 2015 for CNY 350,000.00 (€ 50,546.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wang Daishan erzielte im Mai 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit People and Scenery für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 19.833,69) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Daishan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Garden Series beobachtet, die im April 2015 für CNY 350.000,00 (€ 50.546,50) versteigert wurde.
