Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Receding Figure by Wang Daishan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,426.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Daishan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Garden Series in April 2015 with an auction result of CNY 350,000.00 (€ 50,546.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Receding Figure von Wang Daishan kam im April 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.426,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Daishan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Garden Series im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 350.000,00 (€ 50.546,50).
