Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work (I) Diary I - 68 (Ii) Sketch No. 7 (Two Works) by Wang Daishan. The price achieved of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 6,934.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Daishan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Garden Series in April 2015 with an auction result of CNY 350,000.00 (€ 50,546.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit (I) Diary I - 68 (Ii) Sketch No. 7 (Two Works) von Wang Daishan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 6.934,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Daishan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Garden Series im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 350.000,00 (€ 50.546,50).
