Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2013 Sothebys in Beijing held the auction Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art, which included the work Flower No. 7 by Wang Daishan. Here, the upper estimate of CNY 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for CNY 106,200.00 (€ 12,732.59). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Daishan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Garden Series, which sold at auction in April 2015 for CNY 350,000.00 (€ 50,546.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2013 führte Sothebys in Beijing die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flower No. 7 von Wang Daishan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von CNY 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für CNY 106.200,00 (€ 12.732,59) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Daishan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Garden Series beobachtet, die im April 2015 für CNY 350.000,00 (€ 50.546,50) versteigert wurde.
