A top price for Wan Shanglin
In October 2016 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Various Objects by Wan Shanglin. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 141,600.00 (€ 16,663.38), 18% above the upper estimate. With this result, Various Objects is even the most expensive work of art by Wan Shanglin that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2016 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Various Objects von Wan Shanglin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 141.600,00 (€ 16.663,38) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Various Objects sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wan Shanglin, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
