Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscapes by Wan Shanglin was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 35,000.00 (€ 3,823.91) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Wan Shanglin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Various Objects in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 141,600.00 (€ 16,663.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscapes von Wan Shanglin kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 35.000,00 (€ 3.823,91) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wan Shanglin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Various Objects im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 141.600,00 (€ 16.663,38).
