Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Plum Blossom by Wan Shanglin was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in October last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 57,600.00 (€ 7,381.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wan Shanglin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Various Objects, which sold at auction in October 2016 for HKD 141,600.00 (€ 16,663.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Plum Blossom von Wan Shanglin wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 57.600,00 (€ 7.381,20) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Wan Shanglin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Various Objects beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für HKD 141.600,00 (€ 16.663,38) versteigert wurde.
