Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La città del sole by Walter Valentini was auctioned at Il Ponte in June 2014. The price achieved of EUR 2,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Walter Valentini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La città del Sole, which sold at auction in December 2015 for EUR 7,000.00.

Die Arbeit La città del sole von Walter Valentini kam im Juni 2014 bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Walter Valentini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La città del Sole beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für EUR 7.000,00 versteigert wurde.
