Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Marmolada Punta Rocca II by Walter Niedermayr was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 3,970.79) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Walter Niedermayr have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ghiacciaio Della Marmolada II - 1995 in October 2017 with an auction result of EUR 23,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Marmolada Punta Rocca II von Walter Niedermayr kam im September 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 3.970,79) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Walter Niedermayr auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ghiacciaio Della Marmolada II - 1995 im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 23.400,00.
