Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Twisted strings by Walter Leblanc was auctioned at Christies in Paris in November last year. The price achieved of EUR 31,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Walter Leblanc have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Twisted Strings in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 187,500.00 (€ 213,786.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Twisted strings von Walter Leblanc kam im November letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 31.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Walter Leblanc auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Twisted Strings im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 187.500,00 (€ 213.786,70).
