Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Harvest time by Walter Heath Williams for GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,124.30). This price was achieved in the auction British and Victorian Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Walter Heath Williams have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work On the Glas Lyn in October 2004 with an auction result of USD 19,120.00 (€ 15,000.78).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
