Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Walter Heath Williams could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work A journey along the river changed hands for GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,429.33) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Walter Heath Williams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work On the Glas Lyn in October 2004 with an auction result of USD 19,120.00 (€ 15,000.78).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Walter Heath Williams konnte im Juli 2008 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Walter Heath Williams erzielen.
