Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work An angler by a mountain stream; and Rapids in a mountainous landscape, Llanberis by Walter Heath Williams was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2005. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 660.00 (€ 974.37). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Walter Heath Williams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work On the Glas Lyn in October 2004 with an auction result of USD 19,120.00 (€ 15,000.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit An angler by a mountain stream; and Rapids in a mountainous landscape, Llanberis von Walter Heath Williams kam im Mai 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 660,00 (€ 974,37) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Walter Heath Williams erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit On the Glas Lyn im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 19.120,00 (€ 15.000,78).
