Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,428.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Walter Heath Williams - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work On the Glas Lyn, which sold at auction in October 2004 for USD 19,120.00 (€ 15,000.78).
