In the Victorian & British Impressionist Art auction, the work 'Mang The Braes Of Balquhidder sold for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,600.46) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Waller Hugh Paton - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Loch Achray - 'The pleased lake', which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 45,600.00 (€ 67,103.49).
