Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2014 Christies in London held the auction The Neil Wilson Collection: A Romantic Vision, which included the work Arrochar, Scotland by Waller Hugh Paton. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 812.50 (€ 1,043.61). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Waller Hugh Paton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Loch Achray - 'The pleased lake' in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 45,600.00 (€ 67,103.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Neil Wilson Collection: A Romantic Vision durch, in der auch die Arbeit Arrochar, Scotland von Waller Hugh Paton zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 812,50 (€ 1.043,61) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Waller Hugh Paton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Loch Achray - 'The pleased lake' im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 45.600,00 (€ 67.103,49).
