It achieved a price of GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,871.55), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Waller Hugh Paton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Loch Achray - 'The pleased lake' in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 45,600.00 (€ 67,103.49).
