This artwork by Walead Beshty achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2021. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Six-Sided Picture C (CMMYYC: Irvine California, July 16th 2008 Fuji Crystal Archive Type C) sold for GBP 25,200.00 (€ 29,587.17) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Walead Beshty - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fedex® Kraft Box© 2005 FEDEX 330504 REV 10/05 SSCC, Standard Overnight, Los Angeles-Beverly Hills, trk# 8726 7182 8553, date February 13-14 2012; Standard Overnight, San Francisco-Beverly Hills, trk# 8759 1171 4523, date January 29-30 2013; Interna, which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 68,500.00 (€ 79,951.77).
