Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Greek Coloured Wall by Vlassis Caniaris was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2007. The price achieved of GBP 23,300.00 (€ 32,626.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Vlassis Caniaris have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2009 the work Greek Hommage Aux Murs D'Athènes was auctioned for GBP 55,250.00 (€ 63,205.44).
