The »bidding war« ended at GBP 38,100.00 (€ 43,346.11), 27% above the upper estimate. Other works by Vlaho Bukovac have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 58,850.00 (€ 68,701.35) in November 2011 for the work Croatian a Moment'S Distraction.
