In June 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Still Life With Geometric Shapes by Vladimir Weisberg. The result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 45,206.82) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Vladimir Weisberg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Reclining Nude in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 229,250.00 (€ 282,412.74).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life With Geometric Shapes von Vladimir Weisberg zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 45.206,82) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vladimir Weisberg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Reclining Nude im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 229.250,00 (€ 282.412,74).
