Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online, which included the work Four Cubes by Vladimir Weisberg. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 30,240.00 (€ 33,578.94). Admittedly, works by Vladimir Weisberg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Reclining Nude in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 229,250.00 (€ 282,412.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Four Cubes von Vladimir Weisberg zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 30.240,00 (€ 33.578,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vladimir Weisberg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Reclining Nude im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 229.250,00 (€ 282.412,74).
