Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Composition with Shell by Vladimir Weisberg was sold in the Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online auction at Sothebys in London in September 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 70,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 75,600.00 (€ 87,961.65). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vladimir Weisberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Reclining Nude, which sold at auction in November 2012 for GBP 229,250.00 (€ 282,412.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition with Shell von Vladimir Weisberg wurde im September 2021 in der Auktion Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 70.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 75.600,00 (€ 87.961,65) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Vladimir Weisberg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Reclining Nude beobachtet, die im November 2012 für GBP 229.250,00 (€ 282.412,74) versteigert wurde.
