Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nude by Vladimir Weisberg was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection auction at Sothebys in London in December 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 69,300.00 (€ 82,660.36) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vladimir Weisberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Reclining Nude, which sold at auction in November 2012 for GBP 229,250.00 (€ 282,412.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nude von Vladimir Weisberg wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 69.300,00 (€ 82.660,36) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Vladimir Weisberg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Reclining Nude beobachtet, die im November 2012 für GBP 229.250,00 (€ 282.412,74) versteigert wurde.
