In the 19th Century European Art and Fine 19th Century European Art auction, the work The Pharaoh's Favorite sold for USD 26,290.00 (€ 26,606.62) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vlaho Bukovac - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Croatian a Moment'S Distraction, which sold at auction in November 2011 for GBP 58,850.00 (€ 68,701.35).
