This artwork by Vittorio Zecchin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November 2021. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Matrone sold for GBP 162,750.00 (€ 191,083.81) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 90,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vittorio Zecchin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Madonna E Quattro Evangelisti, 1922, which sold at auction in November 2017 for EUR 681,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 81 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Vittorio Zecchin erzielte im November 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Matrone für GBP 162.750,00 (€ 191.083,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 90.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Vittorio Zecchin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Madonna E Quattro Evangelisti, 1922 beobachtet, die im November 2017 für EUR 681.000,00 versteigert wurde.
