A top price for Virginia Overton - as previously expected
The work Untitled (Mirror) by Virginia Overton was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2018. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,118.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Untitled (Mirror) is the most expensive artwork by Virginia Overton that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Untitled (Mirror) von Virginia Overton kam im April 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.118,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Untitled (Mirror) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Virginia Overton, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
