Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vincenzo Gemito achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait en buste du chanteur lyrique Jean-Baptiste Faure in March this year with an auction result of EUR 41,984.00.

Die Arbeit Anna detta Nannina von Vincenzo Gemito kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 800,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vincenzo Gemito erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait en buste du chanteur lyrique Jean-Baptiste Faure im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 41.984,00.
