Auction result misses estimated price range
In December this year a collector was able to acquire the work Standing naked boy by Vilhelm Hammershøi for DKK 50,000.00 (€ 6,707.65). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings and drawings at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vilhelm Hammershøi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stue (Interior with an Oval Mirror) in May last year with an auction result of USD 6,300,000.00 (€ 5,870,841.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Standing naked boy von Vilhelm Hammershøi für DKK 50.000,00 (€ 6.707,65) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings and drawings bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vilhelm Hammershøi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stue (Interior with an Oval Mirror) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.300.000,00 (€ 5.870.841,49).
