The work Jægersborg Allé by Vilhelm Hammershøi was sold in the Paintings and drawings auction at Bruun Rasmussen in December this year. The »bidding war« ended at DKK 160,000.00 (€ 21,464.47), 60% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vilhelm Hammershøi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stue (Interior with an Oval Mirror) in May last year with an auction result of USD 6,300,000.00 (€ 5,870,841.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Jægersborg Allé von Vilhelm Hammershøi wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Paintings and drawings bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von DKK 160.000,00 (€ 21.464,47) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vilhelm Hammershøi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stue (Interior with an Oval Mirror) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.300.000,00 (€ 5.870.841,49).
