Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Opus V by Victor Servranckx was sold in the TWENTIETH CENTURY ART INCLUDING BELGIAN ART auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2003. The price achieved of EUR 16,730.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Servranckx achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work opus 9 - 1927 in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 272,800.00.

Die Arbeit Opus V von Victor Servranckx wurde im November 2003 in der Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY ART INCLUDING BELGIAN ART bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 16.730,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Servranckx erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit opus 9 - 1927 im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 272.800,00.
