Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cavaliers On A Path by Victor Huguet was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Huguet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Halte De Bicharis Dans Le Desert De Lybie in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 159,156.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cavaliers On A Path von Victor Huguet kam im Juni 2018 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 6.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Huguet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Halte De Bicharis Dans Le Desert De Lybie im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 159.156,00.
