It achieved a price of GBP 1,625.00 (€ 2,231.50), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Huguet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Halte De Bicharis Dans Le Desert De Lybie in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 159,156.00.

Die Arbeit Grey horses with their grooms von Victor Huguet wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion European Noble & Private Collections bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.625,00 (€ 2.231,50) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Huguet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Halte De Bicharis Dans Le Desert De Lybie im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 159.156,00.
