Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 23,500.00 (€ 27,794.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Víctor Patricio de Landaluze - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tipos Populares (Soldado Con Mulata), which sold at auction in November 2010 for USD 74,500.00 (€ 57,149.43).
