The work Tipos Populares (Damas En La Ventana) by Víctor Patricio de Landaluze was sold in the Latin American Paintings auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2010. The »bidding war« ended at USD 31,250.00 (€ 23,972.08), 56% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Víctor Patricio de Landaluze - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tipos Populares (Soldado Con Mulata), which sold at auction in November 2010 for USD 74,500.00 (€ 57,149.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Tipos Populares (Damas En La Ventana) von Víctor Patricio de Landaluze wurde im November 2010 in der Auktion Latin American Paintings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 23.972,08) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Víctor Patricio de Landaluze mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tipos Populares (Soldado Con Mulata) beobachtet, die im November 2010 für USD 74.500,00 (€ 57.149,43) versteigert wurde.
