The auction ended at the price of USD 20,000.00 (€ 15,342.13), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Víctor Patricio de Landaluze - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tipos Populares (Soldado Con Mulata), which sold at auction in November 2010 for USD 74,500.00 (€ 57,149.43).

Die Arbeit Servidumbre de casa rica von Víctor Patricio de Landaluze kam im November 2010 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 15.342,13) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Víctor Patricio de Landaluze mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tipos Populares (Soldado Con Mulata) beobachtet, die im November 2010 für USD 74.500,00 (€ 57.149,43) versteigert wurde.
