Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Víctor Patricio de Landaluze achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in May 2010. In the Latin American Art auction, the work Tipos Populares (La Institutriz) sold for USD 56,250.00 (€ 45,476.59) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Víctor Patricio de Landaluze; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Tipos Populares (Soldado Con Mulata) sold at auction in November 2010 with the realized price of USD 74,500.00 (€ 57,149.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Víctor Patricio de Landaluze erzielte im Mai 2010 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Latin American Art wurde die Arbeit Tipos Populares (La Institutriz) für USD 56.250,00 (€ 45.476,59) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Víctor Patricio de Landaluze; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Tipos Populares (Soldado Con Mulata) im November 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 74.500,00 (€ 57.149,43).
