Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Victor Pasmore could be acquired at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in September this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work Untitled 2 changed hands for GBP 512.00 (€ 512.00) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Pasmore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstract in Indian Red, Crimson, Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink and Orange in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 200,000.00 (€ 231,985.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Victor Pasmore konnte im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Prints and Multiples wechselte die Arbeit Untitled 2 für GBP 512,00 (€ 512,00) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Pasmore erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstract in Indian Red, Crimson, Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink and Orange im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 200.000,00 (€ 231.985,66).
