Etching and aquatint in colours, 1986, on Fabriano wove paper, signed with the initials, dated and numbered 9/90 in pencil (there were also 15 artist's proofs), printed by Vigna Antoniniana Stamperia d'Arte, Rome, with their blindstamp, co-published by Marlborough Fine Art Ltd., London and 2RC Edizioni d'arte, Rome, with the 2RC blindstamp, with margins

Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Green Darkness by Victor Pasmore was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in September this year. The price achieved of GBP 896.00 (€ 896.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Pasmore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstract in Indian Red, Crimson, Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink and Orange in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 200,000.00 (€ 231,985.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Green Darkness von Victor Pasmore wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 896,00 (€ 896,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Pasmore erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstract in Indian Red, Crimson, Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink and Orange im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 200.000,00 (€ 231.985,66).
