Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Victor Man was auctioned at Phillips in London in April 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 39,560.02) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Man achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Weltinnenraum (World Within) in June this year with an auction result of GBP 1,734,000.00 (€ 2,018,077.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Victor Man kam im April 2014 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 39.560,02) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Man erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Weltinnenraum (World Within) im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.734.000,00 (€ 2.018.077,47).
