A top price for Victor Majzner - as previously expected
The work Stalking out Paradise by Victor Majzner was sold in the AUSTRALIAN AND INTERNATIONAL PAINTINGS auction at Christies in Melbourne in May 2001. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of AUD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of AUD 10,575.00 (€ 6,338.75) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Stalking out Paradise is the most expensive artwork by Victor Majzner that we have observed at auctions so far.
