Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work La côte by Victor Charreton for GBP 940.00 (€ 1,536.65). This price was achieved in the auction IMPRESSIONIST, MODERN AND POST WAR ART at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,800.00 – 2,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Charreton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Château sur la rivière in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 36,000.00 (€ 26,759.83).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit La côte von Victor Charreton für GBP 940,00 (€ 1.536,65) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion IMPRESSIONIST, MODERN AND POST WAR ART bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.800,00 – 2.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Charreton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Château sur la rivière im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 36.000,00 (€ 26.759,83).
