This work without title by Viktor IV was sold in the TWENTIETH CENTURY ART INCLUDING BELGIAN ART auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2003. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 776.75 29% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Viktor IV achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work American Totem in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 8,125.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 29 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Viktor IV wurde im November 2003 in der Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY ART INCLUDING BELGIAN ART bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 776,75 und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Viktor IV erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit American Totem im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.125,00.
