Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Private Dream Box of WMB v.d. Vegte by Viktor IV was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2006. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Viktor IV have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work American Totem in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 8,125.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Private Dream Box of WMB v.d. Vegte von Viktor IV kam im September 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.800,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Viktor IV auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit American Totem im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.125,00.
